Public calculators do not require accounts

You do not need to register, log in, or provide any personal information to use the public calculators. Signed-in workspace features are optional and require an account session.

Calculation data storage

By default, public calculations run locally in your browser, and nothing is stored or sent just by entering numbers. If you explicitly choose to share a calculation using the share feature, we save only the anonymised snapshot required to recreate that specific shared page. Signed-in workspace users may also save or import calculations to their workspace.

No sale of personal information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

Analytics

CommerceKit can use PostHog when it is configured in production for anonymous aggregate analytics. In that setup, we use it only to measure page views, tool opens, anonymised share actions, and contact-link usage so we can understand which public pages and tools are being used.

We do not send calculator inputs, prices, quantities, margin values, currencies, notes, emails, or share payload contents to analytics. We also do not use analytics here for session replay, heatmaps, user identification, or user profiles.

Google Analytics remains off unless it is separately configured with a valid production measurement ID, and it should not be enabled before the site owner has made the required cookie and consent decision for the jurisdictions CommerceKit serves. If Google Analytics is enabled later, it may set analytics cookies or similar browser storage.

Advertising

CommerceKit is free and does not currently show ads. To support hosting, we may show advertisements in the future, including ads from third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Such networks may set advertising cookies and use device identifiers to serve relevant ads. If and when ads are enabled, this policy will be updated to describe the providers used and how to opt out.
