About CommerceKit

CommerceKit helps importers make cleaner trade decisions

Trade mistakes usually hide in the small numbers: freight added too late, quotes compared on the wrong unit, or payment gaps nobody modeled. CommerceKit makes those calculations faster, clearer, and harder to fool yourself with.

What it is

A trade decision system. Not a blog, not an ERP

Pricing tools

Calculate landed cost, supplier quotes, margins, freight, MOQ, and safe buy and sell prices before the deal is agreed.

Trade knowledge

Practical guides, definitions, and checklists that explain what the numbers mean and where mistakes hide.

Workspace workflows

Save calculations, compare scenarios, review quotes, and build a repeatable way your team prices deals.

Who builds this

CommerceKit is built by David Casalieri, a working food importer and exporter based in Greece, with an engineering background.

These tools are not abstract SaaS exercises. They are calculations I use in real deals: supplier quotes, landed costs, customs, payment terms, pricing, and cash gaps.

That practical background is also why privacy matters here. CommerceKit is designed so it does not need to see your numbers.

Decisions it supports

The trade questions you should answer before money moves

Can I quote this price safely?
Which supplier offer is truly cheaper?
What is the highest buy price I can accept?
Which costs am I forgetting?
Will this shipment create a cashflow hole?
Where is the margin actually leaking?
Who it is for

Built for trade operators, not finance experts

Importers

Know the true delivered cost before the PO leaves.

Wholesalers

Price with margin, freight, payment terms, and cash pressure in view.

Food distributors

Match MOQ, shelf life, pallet plans, and sell-through before you overbuy.

B2B operators

One practical desk for quote review, pricing, and deal checks.

Small teams without ERP

Get decision clarity without heavy systems, consultants, or spreadsheet chaos.

Quote reviewers

Normalize messy supplier offers before choosing the cheapest-looking one.

How it works

Enter the deal data. Get the real numbers. Decide with confidence.

01

Enter the deal data

Add the prices, quantities, costs, currencies, and assumptions you already have.

02

See the results clearly

CommerceKit turns the inputs into practical outputs: unit costs, totals, margins, landed costs, and comparisons.

03

Decide what is safe

Use the numbers to quote, buy, ship, price, or compare without guessing.

Clear boundaries

CommerceKit helps you check the deal before you quote, buy, or ship, but does not replace official advice or business systems.

Not legal, customs, or tax advice.

Use it to prepare the numbers before you speak to the official expert.

Not a replacement for official sources.

It shows which assumptions still need to be checked and verified.

Not an ERP or accounting system.

It supports trade decisions before the deal becomes admin.

Not a black box

The math, assumptions, and risk logic stay visible.

Your numbers stay yours

By default, calculations run in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to a server, not stored, and not visible to anyone.

Data leaves your device only when you explicitly choose to save a calculation, sign in, or create a share link.

Privacy matters here. CommerceKit is designed so the calculations happen in your browser, unless you choose to save them in your workspace.

What's next

The next step is connecting the tools into one flow: supplier quote → landed cost → pricing → cash impact.

After that, CommerceKit will grow into a workspace for saving and comparing supplier quotes over time, while keeping the same principle: your deal data stays yours.

If there is a calculation you do often and wish was easier, get in touch through the contact page.
